In a few weeks, Hamburg will once again be the meeting place for the international wind industry. From September 24 to 27, WindEnergy Hamburg will take place there, where for four days the focus will be on renewable energy generation in both the onshore and offshore sectors. As a manufacturer of corrosion protection solutions, DÖRKEN will also be represented with a booth.
Representatives along the entire value chain come together at the world's largest and most important business platform for the industry. 1,500 companies from 40 countries and 40,000 participants from 100 nations are expected this year. They can look forward to countless products and innovations from the renewable energy sector. In addition to turbines and rotor blades, the fields covered include mechanical and electrical components, logistics, safety, financing and insurance, innovative materials and smart energy.
Functional coatings are also a must at such an event. It is not least thanks to them that the durable, reliable and economical use of wind turbines is possible. DÖRKEN will be presenting its solutions for this at WindEnergy Hamburg.
“We can't wait to welcome people who are interested in our products,” says René Rother, Key Account Manager Industrial Coatings. “We look forward to answering any questions about our basecoats and topcoats. We are also happy to answer any questions you may have about the proposed PFAS ban.”
Components in the wind industry are exposed to high climatic stresses and mechanical loads. The zinc flake coatings from DÖRKEN offer cathodic corrosion protection for various components. Even bulky components, such as brake disks or roller bearings, can be effectively protected thanks to a room temperature curing solution.
“Everyone is cordially invited to visit us for a professional exchange over a cool drink,” adds Klaus Gradtke, also Key Account Manager Industrial Coatings. The booth with the number 223 can be found in Hall B7.
