    Construction paints and varnishes Solvend-based LUCITE® 161 METALPROTECT

    Highly viscous solvent containing thick-layer satin gloss varnish, active decorative corrosion protection suitable both in interiors and exteriors. The product is indicated for applications on steel, galvanized steel and aluminium, on plumbing/piping, railings, hall constructions, bridges, roofs, roof pannelings and steel lattice towers. In addition, LUCITE® 161 MetalProtect is indicated for the renovation of old coats like for example old thick-layer varnishes, coil-coated surfaces, industrially coated sheet metals and due to the excellent adhesion properties of the product, also of rigid PVC.

    Characteristics

    • good adhesion on galvanized surfaces, copper, aluminium and rigid PVC
    • high active thick-layer corrosion protection thanks to scale-shaped fillers
    • one-pot system, at the same time priming, intermediate and finishing coat
    • fast-drying, touch-dry after approx. 4-5 hours
    • very high covering capacity, especially on edges
