    12.02.2025 DÖRKEN renames product division ‘Tinting Solutions’ to ‘Colorants & Components’

    The colour and pigment paste manufacturer DÖRKEN from Herdecke is now presenting its expertise in the field of pigment pastes and solutions for tinting systems under the name ‘Colorants & Components’.

    Changing market requirements - in particular stricter regulatory requirements and the trend towards healthy living solutions such as biocide- and preservative-free products - are becoming increasingly important in the construction industry. DÖRKEN is responding to this by expanding the existing ‘Tinting Solutions’ division even further and renaming it in the process. ‘Colourants’ now refers to the various pigment pastes for a wide range of services. This also includes the successfully launched, innovative, biocide-free, liquid paste system ECO-W, which has proven itself on the market for two years and was honoured with the German Innovation Award in 2024.

    In addition, the ‘Components’ create the basis for biocide-free, water-based pastes, dispersions, paints, plasters and other coatings from DÖRKEN. This includes new raw material concepts and the optional provision of semi-finished products, perfectly tailored for the customers requirements. With its expertise in microbiology, formulation and coloristics, DÖRKEN also creates solutions that offer customers not just products, but a technological edge. By protecting these technologies with patents and continuously developing them further, DÖRKEN is expanding its business model into a holistic system and technology offering. Customers benefit from a competitive advantage through technological leadership and cost savings thanks to the easy integration of technological solutions. Microbiology services from product development to hygiene management in production as well as supporting development services round off the portfolio.

    To make this further development visible, DÖRKEN will be presenting its latest developments at the European Coatings Show (ECS) from 25th to 27th March 2025. DÖRKEN can be found in Hall 3C, Stand 3C-126.
